PLWC 2023

I spent last weekend in Indianapolis with over 400 other women (and a few men) celebrating the Dobbs decision at the Pro-Life Women’s Conference 2022. I went by myself for the second year in a row and was again overwhelmed by the beautiful women who shared their testimonies and faith.  This year I was supposed to be joined by a friend who ended up being unable to go.

Next year, the 8th Annual PLWC conference will be held in St Charles, MO and it would be amazing if there could be thousands of women there. The ProLife Women’s Conference is primarily sponsored by Pro-Love Ministries, Cornerstone Marketing, as well as many other ProLife organizations! Abby Johnson is the main presenter, and Laura Muzyka of Sidewalk Advocates has been the emcee for all 7 Conferences.

Each woman in attendance was encouraged to bring someone with them next year. If I can get YOU to come, and bring your daughter, granddaughter, or niece, I will have fulfilled that request double!

Go to https://prolifewomen.com click Registration to go to Eventbrite for details and reservations.

Additionally, between now and December 31, the early bird registration is only $149.00 for adults and $100 for students.  I’ve gotten my registration, and I got an additional $25 off because I attended this year’s event.  I will be there in 2023, if God wills it.

What was this year’s PLWC like?  Well, it was a CELEBRATION!!! There were announcements of state after state enacting trigger laws that had been waiting for the moment Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton were overturned and sent back to the states. There was praise music between every talk, and a joyous mass Saturday night. The weekend’s theme had been chosen, prophetically, “For Such a Time as This” and Esther was discussed in the first main talk.

I attended three breakout talks: Sisters for Life “Reaching the Black Community is Essential to Ending Abortion”; ProLove Ministries “Post-Roe Case Management Introduction”, and Save the 1 “ProLife with No Exceptions”. Six other talks were happening at the same time and it would have been great to learn more about “Healthy Helping: Empowering Client Heroes”; “How to Attain an Abortion-Free America”; “Reproductive Grief & Loss”; “Raising Godly Girls”; “Canceling Abortion in Your State: Activism from a Texas Perspective”; and “Abortion is a Trauma Response” but there was only ONE of ME!

I brought home materials from the exhibitors (you can find them at prolifewomen.com) and copious notes from each speaker and break-out session. One recurring statement throughout the whole weekend was the challenge to be bravely ProLife! With that in mind, I made my first Facebook Live video on 6/26, right after the conference ended, and I will be posting my take on various topics from the weekend here and on Facebook. I don’t care if you follow me, though, I simply want you to enjoy the re-energizing environment of the ProLife Women’s Conference in 2023!
